| Abstract: |
| In order to provide technical support for the market supervision of sesame oil, a method based on high performance liquid chromatography was established for the simultaneous determination of 8 characteristic aroma compounds in sesame oil and sesame blended oil. The samples (5 g) were extracted with 10 mL of methanol and ultrasonically extracted for 20 min. The extract were separated on a Phenomenex Gemini C6-Phenyl 110 column (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm), column temperature at 35 ℃. The mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid aqueous solution (volume ratio 12∶ 88) for isocratic elution. Detection was carried out using a high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detector and external standard quantification. The results of the methodological investigation showed that the 8 characteristic aroma compounds had a good linear relationship within the mass concentration range of 0.5-10.0 μg/mL, with determination coefficient exceeding 0.999. The detection limit and quantification limit of the method were 0.4 mg/kg and 1.0 mg/kg, respectively. The spiked recovery was 84.00%-109.00%, and the relative standard deviation for precision was 0.19%-1.68%. In summary, this method has high sensitivity and precision, and can accurately and quickly detect 8 characteristic aroma compounds in sesame oil and sesame blended oil simultaneously. |
