The chemical compositions of peony seed oil, including fatty acid composition, unsaponifiable matter composition and trace elements were introduced. The nutrition and heath care function, such as antioxidation, liver protection, blood lipid reduction and hypoglycemic, and food safety of peony seed oil were summarized and analyzed so as to provide references for further development of peony seed oil. |
