A kind of Brφnsted acid functionalized ionic liquid was prepared and characterized, and it was used to produce biodiesel from soybean oil. The results showed that the acidity of ionic liquid was comparable to the acidity of the concentrated sulfuric acid and it had a good stability. The ionic liquid had good catalytic activity for producing biodiesel from soybean oil. The yield of biodiesel was up to 96.57% under the optimal conditions of molar ratio of ionic liquid to soybean oil 1∶10, molar ratio of methanol to soybean oil 12∶1, reaction time 5 h, and reaction temperature 140?℃. The yield of biodiesel kept above 95% after the ionic liquid was recycled for seven times. The primary physicochemical indexes of the soybean oil biodiesel met the state V standard of-10 # diesel. |
