      As the main by-products in oilseeds production,oil cake and meal are a kind of excellent protein resource,and can be hydrolysed to prepare active peptide.The extraction of active peptide in oil cake and meal was introduced and its physiological functions were elaborated in detail,such as reducing blood pressure,anti-oxidation,reducing blood lipid,lowering cholesterol and anti-tumor.Moreover,the development on studies of active peptide was prospected.
