Papaya seed is rich in oil, and the unsaturated fatty acids content is high in papaya seed oil,which can be explored as a healthy oil source both for diet and medicine. Nutritional components, physicochemical properties, extraction technologies, refining and physiological activities of papaya seed oil at home and abroad were reviewed to provide reference for utilization and deep processing of papaya seed oil in China. |
