The alkali refining process of high acid value corn oil (26.6 mgKOH/g) extracted from corn distillers dried grains with solubles was studied in solvent (hexane) system. The results showed that the alkali refining had better effect when the acid values of refined corn oils were between 1.9-5.2 mgKOH/g in the solvent system (oil content 70%), and under these conditions the contents of diacylglycerol in refined corn oils were 5.0%-6.1% (retention rates of diacylglycerol were 73.5%-89.7%), phospholipid contents reduced to 118.1-133.4 mg/kg, refining rate was about 78.0%, and the color was also improved obviously. Therefore, the deacidification process of high acid value corn oil in hexane system has unique advantages and a good prospect. |
