The oil were extracted from gardenia pomace by supercritical CO2 extraction and organic solvent extraction methods, and the extraction conditions of supercritical CO2 extraction were optimized by quadratic regression orthogonal experiment, and the extraction conditions of organic solvent
extraction were optimized by orthogonal experiment. The optimal extraction conditions of supercritical CO2 extraction were intially determined as follows:extraction pressure 40 MPa, extraction temperature 55℃, velocity of CO2 15 kg/h. The optimal extraction conditions of organic solvent extraction were determined as follows:extraction temperature 50℃, ratio of solid to liquid 1∶4.5, extraction time 240 min, moisture content of raw material 4.0%. The comparison in quality of gardenia pomace oils extracted by these two methods under the optimal conditions showed that supercritical CO2 extraction was suitable for extracting gardenia pomace oil with high quality. |
