Abstract:
      The content of desmethyl phytosterols in crude rice bran oil was detected and compared by spectrophotometry method, high-performance liquid chromatography method and gas chromatography method. The results showed that gas chromatography method was more accurate with good reproducibility comparing with the other two methods, and the recovery rate of standard addition was 93.5% and the relative standard deviation was 1.30%, which was suitable for the detection of desmethyl phytosterols in crude rice bran oil.
