Abstract: |
The effects of pressing method and solvent extraction method on α-vitamin E content were studied by high performance liquid chromatography, and the content changes of α-vitamin E in different processes were determined. The results showed that the average α-vitamin E contents in crude pressed oil-tea camellia seed oil, finished pressed oil-tea camellia seed oil, refined pressed oil-tea camellia seed oil, crude solvent extracted oil-tea camellia seed oil and refined solvent extracted oil-tea camellia seed oil were 27.1,25.4,19.3,17.9 mg/100 g and 14.3 mg/100 g respectively. The α-vitamin E content decreased during processing, but the retention rate of α-vitamin E was more than 71%. The α-vitamin E content in finished pressed oil-tea camellia seed oil was significantly higher than that in refined solvent extracted oil-tea camellia seed oil. |
