The soybean oil deodorizer distillate as raw material was saponified by alkaline alcohol, then squalene was extracted from the unsaponifiable matter. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, alkali concentration and ratio of material to liquid on the content of squalene in unsaponifiable matter were studied. Based on the single factor experiment, the saponification extraction conditions of squalene were optimized by orthogonal experiment as follows: reaction temperature 90℃, reaction time 40 min, alkali concentration 1.6 mol/L and ratio of material to liquid 1∶2. Under these conditions, the content and yield of squalene reached 10.34% and 77.59% respectively after extraction for three times with n-hexane. |
