The synthesis conditions of eleostearic glycidyl ester (EGE) were investigated by two-step method, and the product was confirmed by FT-IR. The results showed that the yield of eleostearic potassium could reach 81% under the conditions of tung oil 40 g, potassium hydroxide dosage 8.5 g, reaction time 2 h, with 90% methanol as solution;the yield of EGE could reach 92% and its epoxy value was 4.7 (close to the theoretical value 4.8 )when molar ratio of eleostearic potassium to epoxy chloropropane and reaction time were 1∶4 and 4 h, respectively. |
