Abstract: |
The inhibitory effect of natural phenolic acids compound on the oxidation of biodiesel was discussed, and the effects of natural phenolic acids compound and BHT on the acid value and peroxide value of biodiesel were analyzed. The results showed that the natural phenolic acids compound could reduce the acid value and peroxide value of biodiesel effectively. Among them, the antioxidant effect of rosemary extract was the best, and the acid value and peroxide value of biodiesel reduced by 46.6% and 38.9% respectively after 360 h when 0.10% rosemary extract was added to biodiesel. The acid value and peroxide value of biodiesel added with 0.04% BHT were both higher than that added with 0.04% rosemary extract under the same condition. The synergistic action between strong and weak antioxidant components in rosemary extract improved the antioxidant effect and the rosemary extract prevented biodiesel from photooxidation by quenching single oxygen. |
