The esterification reaction of the cottonseed acidification oil with methanol catalysed by the traditional liquid acid H2SO4to prepare biodiesel was carried out, and the effects of mass ratio of methanol to oil, catalyst dosage and reaction time on the esterification rate were also studied. The results showed that the optimal esterification conditions were obtained as follows: mass ratio of methanol to oil 1∶1, reaction time 10 h, catalyst dosage 2.5% (based on the mass of oil ), and the esterification rate was 92.17% under these conditions. The main performance indexes of the prapared biodiesel were close to the national 0# diesel standard GB/T 19147—2003. |
