Abstract: |
Concentration of unsaturated fatty acids methyl ester by urea complexation was studied. The urea in the urea-saturated fatty acids methyl ester inclusion compound was uncomplexed with the help of choline chloride and with deep eutectic solvent as a co-product. There was no need for water in the process. The process had the items of low cost and enviromental protection. Under the conditions of 30 g mixed fatty acid methyl ester of iodine value 96 gI/100 g,urea 20 g,methanol 150 mL,complexation time 3 h and complexation temperature 70℃,the iodine value of the fatty acid methyl ester was up to 152 gI/100 g. The effects of choline chloride dosage, uncomplexation temeprature and uncomplexation time on the yield and property of deep eutectic solvent were investigated. The results indicated that the deep eutectic solvent obtained by choline chloride and urea in the inclusion compound at 40℃ for 30 min exhibited similar properties compared with the deep eutectic solvent obtained by the direct synthesis from analytical reagents. |
