The enrichment of docosapentenoic acid (DPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) glycerides from algae oil by freezing crystallization was studied. The fatty acid composition and content of the product were determined by GC-MS. The optimal process conditions were obtained as follows: with acetone as solvent, volume ratio of algae oil to solvent 1∶6, crystallization temperature-40℃, crystallization time 8 h. Under the optimal conditions, the content of DPA in enriched algae oil increased from 11.65% to 14.36% and the content of DHA improved from 44.64% to 57.47%. |
