Abstract:
The effects of different precursors on the biomass, the content, productivity and fatty acid components of Mortierella alpine oil were investigated by adding different kinds of vegetable oils and tween as the precursors of Mortierella alpine to produce oil. The results indicated that both the oil content and the productivity of arachidonic acid increased by adding vegetable oil as precursor. When rapeseed oil, linseed oil and soybean oil were added as precursors, the productivity of arachidonic acid reached 2 063.2, 2 062.8 mg/L and 2 192.9 mg/L, increasing by 112.72%,112.68% and 126.10% compared with the control group. When Tween 80 was used as the precursor, the productivity of Mortierella alpine oil decreased, while the productivity of arachidonic acid reached 1 744.9 mg/L, increasing by 79.91% compared with the control group.
