Abstract:
The effects of different concentrations of carbon and nitrogen sources and culture temperature on DHA production by Schizochytrium sp. were studied. The biomass of Schizochytriumsp.was determined by dry weight method, the oil was extracted by solvent method, and the content of DHA in the Schizochytrium sp.oil was analyzed by GC. The results showed that the optimal mass concentrations of initial glucose and nitrogen source were 80 g/L and 15 g/L,respectively; when the strain was first cultured at 26℃ for 48 h,then cultured at 22℃ for 120 h,the content and yield of DHA in the Schizochytrium sp.oil were 43.62% and 5.23 g/L,respectively;the 50 L pilot-scale fermentation experiment (first culturing at 26℃ for 48 h,then culturing at 22℃ for 96 h) was conducted under the optimal conditions, and the yields of Schizochytrium sp.oil and DHA reached 14.8 g/L and 6.5 g/L respectively. In summary,Schizochytrium
