Abstract: |
The diet habits of domestic resident were simulated by mice model, and the effects of two kinds of vegetable oils blended with lard in mass ratios of 1∶?1 on the body weight, blood lipid, antioxidation and PPARγ and RXRα mRNA expressions in mice liver were investigated. Forty eight-weeks old male KM mice were randomly divided into five groups:blank group (I),low dosage group of rapeseed blend oil (A1),high dosage group of rapeseed blend oil (A2),low dosage group of soybean blend oil (B1) and high dosage group of soybean blend oil (B2). After feeding for eight weeks, the mice were weighted and dissected. The peripheral blood serum was taken to detect blood lipid, and the liver homogenate was taken to detect oxidative damage index and PPARγ and RXRα mRNA expressions. The results showed that in group A1,TG content was extremely and significantly higher than that in group I,A2 and B1; PPARγ level was extremely and significantly higher than that in group I and B1; LDL-C content was extremely and significantly lower than that in group A2. In group A2,the growth rate of body weight of mice was extremely and significantly higher than that in group I and A1; the GSH-Px activity was significantly higher than that in group B2 and A1,and the RXRα level was extremely and significantly higher than that in group A1. In group B1,the MDA content was extremely and significantly lower than that in group B2,and the GSH-Px activity was significantly higher than that in group A1 and B2. In group B2,the HDL-C content was extremely and significantly higher than that in group I and A2; LDL-C content was extremely and significantly lower than that in group A2; the RXRα level was extremely and significantly higher than that in group I,A2 and B1; and the PPARγ level was extremely and significantly higher than that in group I and B1,markedly higher than that in group A2. Intake of low dosage of rapeseed oil and lard blend oil or high dosage of soybean oil and lard blend oil was beneficial for reducing blood lipid level and body weight, and protecting cardiovascular health. Intake of low dosage of soybean oil and lard blend oil or high dosage of rapeseed oil and lard blend oil was beneficial for improving hepatic antioxidant capacity and reducing hepatic oxidative damage. |
