Abstract: |
Oil body proteins were respectively extracted from seabuckthorn pulp and yellow horn kernel, and analyzed by two-dimensional electrophoresis. The results showed that the relative molecular weights of oil body proteins from seabuckthorn pulp and yellow horn kernel were mainly in the range of 10-60 kDa; two-dimensional electrophoresis could present the ideal picture of oil body proteins, in which 281 protein spots were found from oil body protein in seabuckthorn pulp and 248 protein spots were found from oil body protein in yellow horn kernel, respectively. The acidic protein spots of these two woody oil plants were more than alkaline protein spots, and the isoelectric points of most protein spots ranged from 4.0 to 7.0. The results provided scientific base for oil body proteomics of seabuckthorn and yellow horn. |
