Abstract:
      Vegetable protein based adhesives for wood is a new type of green environmental protection adhesive which was prepared with meal protein as raw material and water as dispersion medium. The protein modification methods，performance improvement methods and application of the vegetable protein based adhesives for wood were summarized. Meanwhile，the problems in the research field were pointed out in order to propect the futural research focus and provide a reference for the further development and utilization of the vegetable protein based adhesives for wood.
