Investigation on oil plant resources in Lushan nature reserve |

Abstract: |
The oil plant resources in Lushan nature reserve were investigated through field investigation, sample collection, sample identification and literature review. The results showed that 298 species, belonging to 194 genera and 76 families, were distributed in Lushan nature reserve. There were 22 species, 11 genera and 8 families of gymnosperms, 271 species, 179 genera and 65 families of angiosperms, and 5 species, 4 genera and 3 families of monocotyledon, taking a ratio of 14.16%, 22.45% and 46.62% in Lushan oil plants respectively, and taking a ratio of 36.61%, 48.87% and 70.37% in Chinese oil plants. The dominant families which had 10 or more oil plant species included 10 families. There were 54 species, belonging to 34 genera and 24 families, in which the oil contents were higher than 40%. Lushan nature reserve distribution type of the oil plants was various and origin of ancient, and temperate types were dominant. |
