Abstract: |
The ‘Fengdan’peony seeds were harvested with foliage different mass concentrations of boron fertilizer-spraying and the peony seed oil was produced by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. The effects of foliage different mass concentrations of boron fertilizer-spraying on physicochemical properties and antioxidant capacity of peony seed oil were compared. The results showed that the effect of foliage boron-spraying on iodine value of peony seed oil was significant. Foliage boron-spraying had a certain effect on saponification value but it had no effect on acid value. Under the condition of mass concentration of boron fertilizer 3 g/L, the iodine value of peony seed oil reached the maximum, which had significant difference with control group(P<0.05). The antioxidant capacities of peony seed oil with different mass concentrations of boron fertilizer were compared by combined application of DPPH free radical scavenging, CUPRAC method and ABTS+ method. The results indicated that under the condition of mass concentration of boron fertilizer 3 g/L, the antioxidant capacity of peony seed oil was the strongest. |
