Abstract:
      The ultrasound - assisted extraction of oil from Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. seed was studied. The effects of extraction times, ratio of liquid to solid, extraction temperature and extraction time on the extraction rate of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. seed oil were studied by single factor experiment. With extraction rate and comprehensive score of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. seed oil as indexes respectively, the ultrasound-assisted extraction conditions of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. seed oil were optimized by orthogonal experiment. The results showed that the comprehensive score was superior to extraction rate, and it was more comprehensive and reasonable to take into account the extraction rate and quality of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. seed oil.With comprehensive score of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. seed oil as index, the optimal extraction conditions were obtained as follows: ratio of liquid to solid 4∶?1, extraction temperature 40?℃,extraction time 50 min, and extraction times twice. Under these conditions, the extraction rate, contents of α-linolenic acid and linoleic acid in Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. seed oil were 93.1%, 31.7% and 26.8%, respectively.
