Abstract: |
High specific surface area Al2O3 with areatus multiple layers was prepared by microemulsion method. Solid acid Ti(SO4)2/Al2O3 was obtained by impregnation method. Solid acid Ti(SO4)2/Al2O3 was characterized and analyzed via field emission scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS), X-ray diffraction(XRD), thermal gravity analysis(TG-DTG) and N2 adsorption-desorption. The catalytic activity of Ti(SO4)2/Al2O3 was examined as catalyst in the production of biodiesel from oleic acid with methanol. The results showed that solid acid Ti(SO4)2/Al2O3 had higher catalytic activity. Under the conditions of molar ratio of methanol to oleic acid 8∶?1, reaction time 6 h, reaction temperature 140?℃, and catalyst dosage 7%(based on the mass of oleic acid), the conversion rate of oleic acid reached 93.5%.The agglomeration of catalyst particles could be prevented by anhydrous alcohol washing and solid acid Ti(SO4)2/Al2O3 washed by anhydrous alcohol showed good recycling performance. |
