Abstract: |
Antioxidant effects of dihydromyricetin(DMY) on plant oils were investigated.Scavenging activity on DPPH free radical and the antioxidant activity on oil-tea camellia seed oil, linseed oil, perilla seed oil and oleic acid were evaluated by UV-visible spectrophotometry and oven strengthen storage. The results showed that the scavenging activity of DMY on DPPH free radical was significantly higher than TBHQ,BHT,BHA and TP. When the antioxidant dosage was 0.05%, the antioxidant activities of TBHQ in oil-tea camellia seed oil and oleic acid were the strongest, followed by DMY, BHA, BHT and TP, and the antioxidant activities of TBHQ in perilla seed oil and linseed oil were the strongest, followed by BHA, BHT, DMY and TP. Morever, DMY could help to enhance the role of other antioxidants. The antioxidant effect of DMY on oil-tea camellia seed oil was the best, followed by oleic acid, linseed oil and perilla seed oil. |
