Abstract:
In order to investigate the effects of algicidal bacteria on the cell disruption and oil extraction of microalgae Chlorella vulgaris, with microalgae Chlorella vulgaris as the study object, five strains of algicidal bacteria Kordia sp., Bowmanella denitrificans, Aeromona hydrophila, Pseudomonas flurescens, and Bacillus cirulans were mixed cultured. The results showed that the effects of different algicidal bacteria on the cell disruption and oil extraction of microalgae Chlorella vulgaris were different. The aglae-lysing rate of Aeromona hydrophila, Pseudomonas flurescens, Bowmanella denitrificans, Bacillus cirulans and Kordia sp. were 73%, 65%, 56%, 56% and 43%, respectively. The oil was extracted from Chlorella vulgaris by n-hexane.The oil extraction rate of Bowmanella denitrificans, Kordia sp., Pseudomonas flurescens, Bacillus cirulans, Aeromona hydrophila and control group were 58.4%, 52.7%, 24.1%, 22.5%, 21.1% and 10.4%, respectively. Bowmanella denitrificans was the most potential algicidal bacterium with high aglae-lysing rate which could be reached in 24 h and the oil extraction rate was 4.6 times higher than that of the control group.
