Abstract:
      The structure of the special fatty acid contained in Torreya grandis seed oil, sciadonic acid, was analyzed by FT-IR and GC-MS, and the fatty acid composition and main trace components of Torreya grandis seed oil from different origins were analyzed. The results showed that Torreya grandis seed oil mainly contained nine kinds of fatty acids, such as linoleic acid (39.85%-46.15%), oleic acid (22.68%-35.10%), sciadonic acid (9.13%-12.96%), palmitic acid (7.34%-8.22%), and stearic acid（2.64%-3.03%). Sciadonic acid was a special fatty acid, and its structure was cis-5,11,14-eicosatrienoic acid. In addition, Torreya grandis seed oil mainly contained seven kinds of trace components, such as β-tocopherol (1 325.75-1 769.06 mg/kg), β-sitosterol(921.87-1 167.91 mg/kg), and α-tocopherol(208.69-272.20 mg/kg), etc.
