With Moringa oleifera seed as raw material, based on single factor experiment, the microwave-assisted extraction conditions of Moringa oleifera seed oil were optimized by orthogonal experiment. The yield and quality of Moringa oleifera seed oil under the optimal conditions were compared with those by ultrasound-assisted extraction and solvent extraction. The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions were obtained as follows: microwave power density 5 W/g, microwave irradiation time 6 min, extraction temperature 50 ℃ and extraction time 30 min. Under these conditions, the yield of Moringa oleifera seed oil was 36.45%. Compared with ultrasound-assisted extraction and solvent extraction, Moringa oleifera seed oil extracted by microwave-assisted method had the highest iodine value, the highest contents of phytosterols, polyphenols and flavonoids, and the lowest peroxide value, which showed that microwave-assisted extraction had a promising application prospect. |
