Abstract:
      Based on the preparation of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge. oil biodiesel, with 0# diesel as control, property of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge. oil biodiesel and its compatibility with silicone rubber were analyzed. The results showed that Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge. oil biodiesel had high content of unsaturated fatty acids and the physicochemical indexs could meet the requirements of the national standard for biodiesel(GB/T 20828—2007). The static immersion tests in 0# diesel and biodiesel were carried out at room temperature for 28 d. In the static immersion test, the density and kinematic viscosity of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge. oil biodiesel also met the national standard, and the influence of silicone rubber on properties of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge. oil biodiesel was less than that of 0# diesel.The maximum change rates for silicone rubber in thickness, mass, tensile strength and elongation at break were 11.99%, 14.52%, -12.23% and 7.69% respectively, which were less than those in 0# diesel. The swelling of silicone rubber both in biodiesel and 0# diesel occurred in its early stage of static immersion test.
