Abstract:
      L-α-glycerophosphorylcholine (L-α-GPC) is a type of water-soluble phospholipid metabolite, which naturally exists in the animal body, and it is also the choline source of preparing the acetylcholine. It can not only enhance the peoples memory and cognitive abilities, but also prevent and treat lots of diseases. It will be difficult to meet the market demand of high-quality and high-purity L-α-GPC without the mature technology of preparation, purification and detection. The methods of preparation, purification and detection of L-α-GPC at home and abroad were summarized, in order to provide support to the development of L-α-GPC and related products.
