Abstract:
      In order to reduce the side effects of mitomycin C(MMC) by corneal absorption in the treatment of pterygium,the prodrug DHA-MMC was preparaed by chemical coupling with DHA and MMC. The results of the corneal permeability experiment and in vitro release experiment showed that increased relative molecular weight could block MMCs corneal absorption, so as to avoid its ocular side effects. The prodrug DHA-MMC could amass in ocular surface and then release the MMC to generate activity.
