Abstract: |
Effects of different mass concentrations of plant growth regulator (IAA、TRIA、6-BA、2,4-D) on growth and oil accumulation of Chlorella pyrenoidosa were studied. The mechanism was also discussed from algal cell morphology, fatty acid composition and element content, etc. The results showed that 2,4-D significantly promoted growth of Chlorella pyrenoidosa in municipal wastewater. The dry weight and lipid yield of Chlorella pyrenoidosa reached the maximum when mass concentration of 2,4-D was 1.5 mg/L, and increased by 30.77% and 51.43% compared with control group, respectively. It was found that the size of Chlorella pyrenoidosa in treatment group was slightly larger than that in control group by scanning electron microscope. According to the GC analysis of the lipids, plant growth regulator exerted a relatively low influence on the fatty acid composition of Chlorella pyrenoidosa, but it increased the content of monounsaturated fatty acid, which was helpful to improve the quality of biodiesel. |
