Fish oil products have great nutrition functions and gain much popularity among consumers. The normal inspection methods of fish oil quality fail to meet the rapid, non-destructive, high-efficient and non-polluted requirements due to operation difficulties, high destruction, reagent pollution and other demerits. With the development of chemometrics, the spectrometric technology, such as the near infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance, have broken through the limits of normal detection methods, which is the development trend of fish oil quality detection technology.Based on massive literatures, the current applications of spectrometric detection technology in fish oil quality assessment were summarized.Especially, the spectroscopic methods, chemometrics and devices were analyzed. The main problems of fish oil quality detection by spectrometric technology were pointed out, and the research direction was prospected for the future. |
