Abstract: |
With rapeseed oleic acid as raw material, the C21 dicarboxylic acid was obtained by Diels Alder addition reaction, and C21 dicarboxylic acid sodium surfactant was synthesized by purification and neutralization. The C21 dicarboxylic acid was analyzed by mass spectrum, and the surface properties of C21 dicarboxylic acid sodium were studied. The results showed that with the content of linoleic acid in the product as index, the optimal reaction conditions were obtained as follows: mass ratio of linoleic acid to iodine 1∶?0.002, molar ratio of linoleic acid to acrylic acid 1∶1.2 and reaction temperature 240?℃. Under these conditions, the content of linoleic acid in the product was less than 1%.The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of the C21 dicarboxylic acid sodium surfactant was 5.75×10-3 mol/L and the surface tension (γ) reached 37.98 mN/m, which was comparable to the performance of sodium laurate. |
