Abstract: |
The contamination status of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1 ) in edible vegetable oil in Zhejiang province was investigated. The contents of AFB1 in 1 208 samples of peanut oil, corn oil, soybean oil, rapeseed oil, oil-tea camellia seed oil, sunflower seed oil, sesame oil and blend oil from 151 edible vegetable oil distribution enterprises in Zhejiang province from Sep 2016 to Dec 2016 were determined by HPLC. The results showed that AFB1 was detected from 22 samples, and the detection rate of AFB1 was 1.8%. None of the samples exceeded the maximum level. AFB1 was found in peanut oil, sunflower seed oil, corn oil and blend oil. AFB1 was not found in oil-tea camellia seed oil and rapeseed oil of Zhejiang special products. The AFB1 detection rate of bulk oil (3.8%) was obviously higher than that of stereotyped packaging products (0.9%). The AFB1 contents in edible vegetable oil samples were lower than the limitation of national standard. |
