With the yield of oligomeric stilbene compound as evaluation index, the ultrasound-assisted extraction conditions of oligomeric stilbene compound from peony seed shell were optimized by single factor experiment and response surface methodology, and the antioxidant activity of the extract was tested. The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions were obtained as follows: ratio of liquid to solid 22∶1, extraction time 40 min, extraction temperature 62?℃, volume fraction of methanol 70%. Under the optimal conditions, the yield of oligomeric stilbene compound was 17.68%. The scavenging activity of oligomeric stilbene compound on DPPH free radical was similar to that of vitamin C, while the ferrous ion reduction ability was lower than that of vitamin C. |
