Abstract: |
Fatty acid compositions of sea buckthorn pulp oil and sea buckthorn seed oil were analyzed by gas chromatography and the antioxidant activities of sea buckthorn pulp oil and sea buckthorn seed oil were evaluated by scavenging 1,1-diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl hydrate free radical (DPPH·) and hydroxyl free radical(·OH). The results showed that sea buckthorn pulp oil mainly contained palmitoleic acid (35.945%), palmitic acid (34.108%), oleic acid (18.357%) and linoleic acid (6.198%), and the content of unsaturated fatty acid was 62.501%. Sea buckthorn seed oil mainly contained linoleic acid (38.958%), linolenic acid (29.327%), oleic acid (20.859%) and palmitic acid (7.659%), and the content of unsaturated fatty acid was 89.965%. The IC50 of sea buckthorn pulp oil, sea buckthorn seed oil and BHT were 25.68, 17.29 μg/mL and 27.61 μg/mL respectively for scavenging DPPH·, and the IC50 were 29.32, 25.48 μg/mL and 33.60 μg/mL respectively for scavenging ·OH, which indicated that sea buckthorn pulp oil and sea buckthorn seed oil had strong antioxidant activities, and the antioxidant activity of sea buckthorn seed oil was stronger than that of sea buckthorn pulp oil. |
