Abstract:
      Camelina sativa L. is an environmental, stress resistance, effective and unique nutritional oil crop which has an extensive application prospect in China. The cultivation history and characteristics, biological characteristics and breediness of Camelina sativa L. , main composition and function of Camelina sativa L. seed (oil) were reviewed ,also the Camelina sativa L. seed oil production process and its application situation in food, feed, daily chemical and industry were reviewed, and some ideas for the future development of Camelina sativa L. were put forward to provide reference for further development and utilization of Camelina sativa L..
