| Abstract: |
| The preparation of gossypol acetic acid from cottonseed soapstock was studied. Gossypol acetic acid could be obtained from cottonseed soapstock through acidification, hydrolysis, separation, crystalization, filtration and drying. The preparation process of gossypol acetic acid was optimized by single factor experiment. The results showed that with cottonseed soapstock as raw material, under the conditions of dosage of concentrated sulphuric acid 10%, heating time 90 min and volume ratio of glacial acetic acid to oil phase 1∶[KG-2mm]3, the purity of gossypol acetic acid after crystallization was above 88% and recovery rate was above 60%. The purity of gossypol acetic acid was above 98% and recovery rate was above 45% through re-crystallization. |
