Abstract: |
Near infrared spectroscopy(NIRS) is a new nondestructive analysis technology which has the advantages of simple pretreatment and enabling high-throughput, multi-analyte detections. In recent years, NIRS played an important role in analysis of edible oil. The applications of NIRS in the nondestructive analysis of edible oil in recent ten years were summarized. The analysis type of NIRS and the applications in edible oil and oilseed were described. Rapid identification and analysis of different kinds of edible oil, rapid analysis of the physicochemical indexes(such as content of free fatty acid, iodine value, acid value, peroxide value, saponification value, etc.), nondestructive adulteration detection of edible oil and nondestructive analysis of oil content in oilseeds(such as corn, cottonseed and rapeseed) could be realized by NIRS combining with chemometrics methods. Furthermore, the future research focuses for the rapid and nondestructive analysis of edible oil products were proposed based on existing problems in this area, in order to discover more extensive application of NIRS in the field of nondestructive analysis of edible oil. |
