Abstract:
      The compositions and contents of fatty acid and unsaponifiable matter in Staphylea bumalda seed oil were analyzed by GC-MS. The results showed that the content of unsaturated fatty acid in Staphylea bumalda seed oil was 86.68%, mainly were oleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid. Six phytosterols, three olefins, one vitamin and twelve alkane compounds were identified from the unsaponifiable matter, and γ-sitosterol, squalene and vitamin E were abundant with contents of 411.21, 257.72 mg/kg and 151.94 mg/kg. The vitamin E in Staphylea bumalda seed oil was α-tocopherol by the mass spectrometry ion fragment analysis.
