      The glycosylation can improve the functional properties of protein.The advantages of glycosylated protein catalyzed by transglutaminase were reviewed, and the glycosylation mechanisms as well as the structure and main functional properties of glycosylated protein were described, also the future development potential of glycosylation of protein catalyzed by transglutaminase was discussed.
