In order to study the quality of six Changlin series of Camellia oleifera in Wenzhou region, the oil content and fatty acid composition of six Changlin series of Camellia oleifera kernel were tested. The results showed that the oil contents of Camellia oleifera kernel in six Changlin series from high to low were 45.2%, 45.1%, 42.7%, 42.0%, 38.4% and 33.8%, respectively. The lowest total saturated fatty acid content was 10.4% for Changlin 4 and 166, and the highest content was 12.9% for Changlin 53, and the average content was 11.3%. The highest oleic acid content was 82.3% for Changlin 4,and the lowest content was 73.2% for Changlin 40,and the average content was 78.0%. A small amounts of squalene and β- sitosterol were detected,which were beneficial to human body. Changlin 4 had the best quality according to the high oil content, high monounsaturated fatty acid and low polyunsaturated acid. |
