Abstract: |
The contents of total phenolics, condensed tannins and total flavonoids in fruit wing, seed coat and seed kernel meal of Acer truncatum Bunge. were analyzed, and the vitro antioxidant capacity of the samara extract were evaluated through FRAP method, DPPH radical scavenging ability and ABTS+ · scavenging capacity. The results indicated that the contents of three bioactive components in the seed coat were the highest. The contents of total phenolics, condensed tannins and total flavonoids in seed coat were 342.83 mgGAE/g, 847.45 mgCE/g and 5766 mgRT/g respectively. The contents of three bioactive components in seed kernel meal were the lowest. There were significant differences in different parts of samara in the FRAP antioxidant capacity and the scavenging activities of DPPH free radical and ABTS+·, and the sequence of antioxidative capacity from high to low was:seed coat, fruit wing, seed kernel meal. In addition, the antioxidative capacity was positively correlated with the contents of total phenolics and condensed tannins in different parts of samara. |
