With sunflower straw, perilla straw, peanut shell and walnut shell as research materials, the effects of particle size, adsorption time and adsorption temperature on oil adsorption capacity of four kinds of oil crops biomass materials were studied. The adsorption properties of these materials to three kinds of oils were also tested. In addition, oil retention capacities and hydrophobic oil absorption capacities of the four kinds of materials were also studied. The results showed that the oil adsorption capacity of perilla straw was the best, followed by sunflower straw, walnut shell and peanut shell. The optimal particle size, adsorption time and adsorption temperature of sunflower straw, perilla straw, peanut shell and walnut shell were 40, 20,60 meshes and 40 meshes, 60, 60, 30 min and 120 min, 30, 50, 30?℃ and 30?℃, respectively. Under the optimal conditions, the maximum adsorption capacities of the four kinds of materials on soybean oil were 2.91, 4.09, 1.05 g/g and 1.65 g/g, respectively. The adsorption capacities of four materials on soybean oil were the strongest, followed by diesel oil and gasoline. Perilla straw had the highest oil absorption capacity, and its oil retention capacities on three kinds of oils were not less than 75%, and its oil-water ratio was up to 1.12. |
