Polyphenols were extracted from Camellia oleifera leaves. On the basis of single factor experiment, the response surface methodology was used to optimize the extraction conditions. Besides, the scavenging activities of polyphenols from Camellia oleifera leaves and VC on DPPH·、ABTS+·、O2-· were studied. The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions were obtained as follows: extraction time 35 min, extraction temperature 69 ?℃, ethanol volume fraction 32% and solid-liquid ratio 1∶?69. Under these conditions, the extraction amount of polyphenols from Camellia oleifera leaves was 6731 mg/g. The maximum scavenging rates of polyphenols from Camellia oleifera leaves on DPPH·, ABTS+· and O-2·were 90.2%, 100% and 99.04% respectively, and the antioxidant capacities in vitro were better than VC. |
