Abstract:
      With petroleum ether as extraction solvent, rose hip seed oil was extracted by Soxhlet extraction. After acid methyl esterification, the composition of rose hip seed oil was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The results showed that the yield of rose hip seed oil was 1161%. In the rose hip seed oil, the fatty acid content was 71.27%, containing palmitic acid (674%), stearic acid (3.11%), octacosanoic acid (190%), hexacosanoic acid (1.80%), arachidic acid(1.16%), and other saturated fatty acids, and linoleic acid (27.19%), linolenic acid (26.52%), 2-hydroxy-9,12,15-octadecatrienoic acid(0.81%), cis-13-eicosenoic acid(065%), oleic acid (0.15%), and other unsaturated fatty acids. In addition, campesterol (668%),γ-tocopherol (144%) and γ-sitosterol (20.61%) were detected in rose hip seed oil.
