Abstract:
      Dehydrated ricinoleic acid (DCO-FA) was obtained by distillation under reduced pressure at high temperature using ricinoleic acid as raw material. The yield of product under different preparation conditions were studied through single factor experiment. The results showed that the optimal preparation conditions of DCO-FA were obtained as follows: dosage of 4  molecular sieves used as catalyst 2%(based on the ricinoleic acid mass), dosage of antioxidant 1024 used as polymerization inhibitor 1% (based on the ricinoleic acid mass), reaction temperature 300?℃. Under the optimal conditions, the product was colorless and transparent with low viscosity, and the yield reached 93.77%. The product was characterized by acid value, hydroxyl value, infrared spectroscopy, and ultraviolet spectrophotometry. The analysis results proved that the dehydration reaction was successful, and the conjugation rate of the product was up to 58.49%.
