The basic physical property parameters of Jatropha curcas oil and its biodiesel were obtained using the estimation method of related physical properties data, which effectively solved the problem that the critical parameters were difficult to determine. At the same time, the physical parameters were estimated, including gas viscosity, liquid viscosity and surface tension, which were related to the hereditary properties and equilibrium properties. The physical properties of Jatropha curcas oil and its biodiesel at different temperatures were measured and compared with the estimated results. The results showed that at the experimental temperature, the maximum errors of kinematic viscosity and surface tension of Jatropha curcas biodiesel were 5.94% and 5.70% respectively. The estimation results were accurate. |
