| There are abundant resources of rock woody edible oil crops in the Karst area of southwest China. Rational exploitation of these resources is of great significance and value for realizing vegetation restoration and reconstruction of fragile ecosystems in Karst, reversing industrial structure of rural areas, realizing regional poverty alleviation and development and even promoting the wooding of edible oil crops in China, and safeguard the national safety of grain and oil. Based on the literature, the geographical distribution, physiological and ecological habits, and exploitation value of the rock woody edible oil crops resources with industrial development potential in the Karst area of southwest China were discussed, and the prospects of the exploitation of the rock woody edible oil crops resources and its enlightenment on the desertification control were expounded, aiming to promote the construction of characteristic woody edible oil crops industry in Karst mountainous areas, and realize the coordinate development of ecological construction and regional economy in Karst mountainous areas and maintain national grain and oil security. |
